Accuracy Improvement
in Computer Controlled Measuring and Test Systems
 


Accuracy improvement by using signal processing and self-calibration plays an important rolein computer controlled measurement and test technology. In this paper adaptive filtering,self-calibration measuring methods, and self-correction algorithms are introduced to reducemeasuring errors. The adaptive filtering is suitable for noise reduction of periodic and peri-odically extended signals, the spectrum of which superimposes with the noise spectrum. Theself-calibration measuring methods are based on self-calibration with the use of referenceelements and quantities integrated in a measuring system. After the self-calibration measu-ring errors are automatically compensated so that the measuring accuracy of the resultingsystem can be improved in comparison with that of the original system. Errors caused by di-gital signal processing in measuring systems can be reduced by the proposed self-correctionalgorithm. Typical application examples are shown in this paper.


Die Verbesserung der Messgenauigkeit durch Signalverarbeitung und Selbstkalibrierung spielteine wichtige Rolle in der rechnergesteuerten Mess- und Prüftechnik. In diesem Beitrag wer-den adaptive Filterung, selbstkalibrierende Messverfahren und selbstkorrigierende Algorith-men zur Reduktion von Messabweichungen dargelegt. Die adaptive Filterung eignet sich fürdie Rauschunterdrückung periodischer und periodisch fortgesetzter Signale, deren Spektrumsich mit dem Rauschspektrum überlagert. Die selbstkalibrierenden Messverfahren basierenauf Selbstkalibrierung unter Nutzung der in einem Messsystem integrierten Referenzelementebzw. -größen. Nach der Selbstkalibrierung werden Messabweichungen durch Signalverar-beitung automatisch kompensiert, sodass die Messgenauigkeit des resultierenden Systemsgegenüber dem Originalsystem verbessert werden kann. Durch den selbstkorrigierenden Al-gorithmus können die durch digitale Signalverarbeitung hervorgerufenen Messabweichungenkompensiert werden. Typische Anwendungsbeispiele werden im Beitrag genannt.


通过信号处理和自校准提高测量精度在计算机控制的测量和 测试技术中起着重要作用。本文介绍了自适应滤波、自校准测量 方法和自校正算法,用于减少测量误差。自适应滤波适用于抑制 周期性和周期性连续信号的噪声,这些信号的频谱与噪声频谱重 叠。自校准测量方法基于自校准,利用测量系统中集成的参考元 件或参考量。自校准后,通过信号处理自动补偿测量偏差,从而 提高最终系统的测量精度,使其优于原始系统。自校正算法可补 偿数字信号处理造成的测量偏差。文章中列举了典型的应用实例 。
